The Sky Mirror in Kuala Selangor is one of the most impressive attractions in Malaysia. During high tide, this secret island is completely invisible to the naked eye and undetectable because it is submerged. The miracle happens at low tide.

Sky Mirror is a name given to reflect a mirror image of the sky on an island that emerges during the low tide. A sand bank emerges creating an island which is shallow with a few inches of sea water that happens from mid to late morning. The effect creates a mirror image of the sky and any subject standing there and this has attracted thousands of locals here to snap those epic shots. The size of this sand bank island is huge, but you should always check with the tour operator on where it ends, as you would not want any unforeseen incidents by exploring too far away.

Sky Mirror is located 1.74 nautical miles off the coast of the fishing village of Jeram, Selangor, in the middle of the Straits of Malacca Sea. Most of the time, it is submerges underneath the sea, which make it uncharted on the world map.It is when the tide is ideal that this sand bar emerges, Malaysia’s own “Salar de Uyuni”.

Sky Mirror or known as “Mirror of the Sky “, Sky Mirror as the shallow waters of this “Secret Island” reflects the sky in all its going, thus creating many unique photography opportunities.The Island makes a perfect travel destination for your holiday, it is also a habitat for many marine agriculture. The most common are the sea and baby clam scattered abundantly in the sand.

Sky MIrror -Time To Visit

Sky Mirror is a unique tourist attraction that is only accessible when low tide. Departure timing varies everyday, and unable to reach and land at there when high tide. Departure time is estimate from 6.00am to 1.00 pm, the departure time is different every day.

With refer to the  lunisolar calendar (Chinese Calender), there no trip between the day of 9-12 and 23-25.
